Do you know what they're talking about?

So, seeing as I'm just a young pup, my mommy and daddy are working on this thing they call "potty outside". I don't really know what it means yet, but they get really excited when I go outside to go potty. They give me dirty looks when I go on the floor. I don't know why though?
Is there any other puppies that know what they're talking about? Mommy and Daddy keep saying that I'm such a good girl and I want to make sure that they keep saying that! :) They've already put a bunch of stuff in my cage so that I can't potty in my crate. (I don't like sitting in it! Yucky!) What do other doggies (and mommy and daddys) do for this problem?

  1. Sorry....I khame here when I was already two years or or so!

  2. Well just know that if you go outside you are more than likely to get a treat instead of yelled at and that is so much better. Keep trying to go outside and remember you get to sniff a lot of new stuff out there. =)

  3. My mom took me outside every 3 hours when I was a very young girl and I still had accidents! It gets easier to hold it as you get older, Stella!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  4. I was lucky because I had a big doggie here to teach me the potty rules. I agree with Maggie and Mitch that its important to go out a lot when you are a baby because you can't really hold it.

My stupid brother had to be taught to take advantage of the outdoor potty by Momma saying "do your pee-pee" how embarassing.

  5. Hi, Stella...

Yeah, the humans seem to get really excited when we go potty outside...I think it's cuz they like to clean up the yard...

Anyway...Just remember the more you go potty outside, the more treats & snuggles you will get...They get really excited about it...

  6. I agrees with Maggie and Mitch too, you need to go out lots and lots. It is a tricky one to get, but peoples just don't like the smell of dog wees in the house. Not sure how they know what parts of it are ours that way, but I guess that just means we own everything.
