Howl-o-ween!!

I hope everyone had a GREAT Halloween! Mommy decided to dress me up...even though I protested and pouted! Can you guess who I was??? (don't mind the "scared look" on my face...that's part of my pout-y-ness)Any guesses??? "Hercules" from "The Sandlot"!
I was very nervous about coming out. I get nervous about my figure! :)
Mommy kept taking pictures of me. I just wanted to hide my face!
"Stop it Mommy!"
Mommy tried to get the whole shirt in the picture, but it didn't work out very well.
What were YOU for Howl-o-ween??
p.s. This is from Stella's mommy....Stella's 1st birthday is coming up and I want to make some "puppy friendly" treats for some of my friends. What are some good websites to find some yummy treats? I know there's a puppy recipe book out there too, do you know what its called?

Doggy Paddle 2009

Every year at our local pool, after they've closed it down for the humans, they let us puppies get in and swim before they drain the pools for the winter. I met my friend Louie down at the park for some fun swimmy time!!

Stella's checking things out. Not so sure!

Okay, I'm out here, now what?
It took a little coaxing!

Her head isn't anywhere near the water, but she still won't go in any deeper!

This is our friend Louie, the boxer. He's 5 months old and we are great friends. He wasn't so sure about the water either! He didn't want to go to the next step!

Put as soon as he got up enough courage, he was swimming around like a pro!!

The Swimmer and the Scaredy Cat! Played by Louie and Stella!

The best part of the day...getting towel dried off!!

Ahh...this is the life!!

Oh by the way!

I completely forgot to post pictures of my puppy class!
This is (Honey) Bear. He's a Chihuaha mix.

He says, "I know I look good!"

Lacie, the lovely labra-gal loved wearing the graduation hat! She's such a natural!

Lily, the goldendoodle is a good friend of mine. We like to go to the doggy park together sometimes. She so cute, even with her gray goatee!

Dolly, the goldendoodle was the youngest of our group. She did such a good job!!

She did need a little coaxing to leave the hat on, but we won't tell! :)

And then there's me and my big-ness. Graduated lady! :)

"Yeah, I just graduated today. No big deal!!" :)

All this picture taking is making me sleepy!

Congratulations to the class of June 2009!! :)

We were trying to get a picture with her diploma, but it didn't really work very well.

She is much more interested in a crumb on the ground. Mmmh!

Thank you Liz for being my teacher!!!!

I tried to post a video of Stella doing some sweet moves, but for some reason, it doesn't let me. If somebody can show me how, maybe I can dazzle you someday! :)

Stella wants a treat.....

"Mommy, I would like a treat. I will sit very nicely for it too."

"Are you just going to ignore me down here? Seriously, I want a treat!"

"I will even show you where they are, just in case you forgot. See? Right there!"

"Just put one down on the floor and I will be a happy lady!"

"This is just torture!!"

Just a quick note to let you know that we at the Whitworth household have passed a monumental milestone.

Stella has passed the 100 lbs mark this week!

We changed nom-noms this week to a different brand to possibly help with some....poo problems. Everything seems to be going well so far! Its easier to change food since Stella's such a foodie! She'll eat anything! :)

This is an ode to those we've loved and lost....

This post is dedicated to those friends who, through possibly some fault of my own, have had some misfortunes.

First, is Lovey. Lovey has been with me from the very beginning. Mommy and Daddy had her in the car with me on the way back to my forever home. This is me on one of my first days with Lovey.

This is Lovey now. After countless surgeries and head/limb/tail reattachment surgeries, Lovey finally had to be "put to pasture". I will miss her.

Lovey: 11/08-6/09. Friend, playtoy, snuggle buddy.

Next is Moe. I had Moe for less than a week. Moe used to be a giraffe. This is Moe now.

I say, "What's wrong with having more than one?"

Thirdly is my Wubba. I don't have an "after" picture of wubba, but let's just say there is no more top tennis ball on the wubba anymore. Mommy got me another one, but that was also gone that night. :)

Lastly is Mr. Mister, my turtle. He has been MIA for a couple weeks for what Mommy calls "medical leave". This is how I will always remember him!

Times are getting desperate in the house of Whitworth. I'm starting to play with my own limbs! It's not fun!

Anyone have any suggestions for a new snuggle buddy? Otherwise, I might have to start on Mommy's shoes...she will not be happy!

And just a little side note from Stella's mommy. I was looking through baby Stella pictures last night and came across these. I forget how little she was! My big girl is growing up!!

January 2009: 3 1/2 months, about 35 lbs
March 2009: 5 months: 50 lbs

June 2009: 7 months: 90 lbs (notice my new "big girl collar"! Mommy and Daddy first bought it when they first got me. It could wrap around my neck twice when I was a baby. Now it fits! :) )

Stella out!
